2024 Stockholm Diamond League Meeting: Duplantis on home soil, Bol first hurdles of the year!

The Stockholm Diamond League is always a fantastic meeting. Held at the 1912 Olympic Stadium, the Bauhaus Galan meeting is one of the oldest of the Scandinavian Summer meetings and where our sport survived the Second World War, among other global challenges. Ron Clarke, the great Australian runner, supported the Scandanavian meetings and the presence of these events now is due to many athletes believing in the importance of these meetings.

Tomorrow, Mondo Duplantis jumps at home, and Femke Bol opens over 400m hurdles, one day after Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone ran a world-leading 52.70 opener at the Edwin Moses Legends Meeting!

I want to give special thanks to EME News, the nightly newsletter on all things track, for its preview of the Stockholm DL.
