Nine will be fine! Top Scots are headed for Paris 2024 after being picked by Team GB for Olympics

Thursday 1st August 2024

‘If it was going to be easy, people wouldn’t buy tickets’ – Josh Kerr

The Olympics have been up and running in Paris for almost a week – and soon the gun will go off on the athletics action.

Team GB begin their campaign in track and field at the State de France on Friday morning.

There are of course nine Scots within the 64-strong British team in Paris and we can’t wait to watch them in action and cheer them on from afar!

Team captain Josh Kerr and Neil Gourley, on his Olympic debut, kick-off the Scots in action on Friday with Nicole Yeargin potentially in the Women’s 4x400m Relay and Jemma Reekie racing in the Women’s 800m heats in the evening.
