Picked for Scotland! U20 team named for Manchester International

England Athletics website – Manchester International 

Scotland are sending an U20 team to the Manchester International later this month.

The track and field international event takes place at the Sport City stadium on Saturday 24 August from 12 noon to 5pm.

And we are delighted to now name the athletes selected to represent Scotland at U20 level in Manchester.

We send our warm congratulations to all those athletes selected and to their families and coaches. We also highlight their clubs, where volunteers have played a key role in helping develop these dedicated and hard-working young athletes.

Scotland U20 Women

100m: Emma Clark (Whitemoss AAC)

400m: Holly Ovens (Fife AC)

1500m: Hannah Ryding (Giffnock North AC)

2000m Steeplechase: Emma McLennan (Giffnock North AC)

High Jump: Anna Reid (Aberdeen AAC)

Triple Jump: Matilda Brockley (Edinburgh AC)

Shot Put: Meghan Porterfield (VP-Glasgow)

4x100m Relay: Clark, Kishi Aremu (Livingston AC), Tehillah Ikechukwu-Okonkwo (Law and District), Sophie Thomas (Dunfermline)

400m Hurdles: Ben Heron (North Ayrshire AC)

The International is a UKA Level 2 licensed meeting and has been WPA Endorsed and WA licensed for World Rankings, GB & NI Selection and potential record ratification.
