Fisher Earns Dr. Pepper GO Teach Scholarship


Columbia, Mo. — Arianna Fisher was selected as the Dr. Pepper GO Teach Grand Prize winner by the College Football Playoff Foundation. She will be awarded a total of $12,500 for post-graduate studies.

The College Football Playoff Foundation is dedicated to elevating the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers. The GO Teach Grand Prize Giveaway seeks to assist with the recruitment of great teachers and supports student-athletes who are on their way to becoming educators.

Fisher is a 2022 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Education and will now be pursuing a master’s in education with an emphasis in educational and counseling psychology.

Last track and field season, Fisher finished seventh in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a leap of 13.52m (44-4.25). She nabbed first-team All-America honors in the NCAA Indoor Championships and second-team All-America honors in the NCAA outdoor championships.

She currently holds Missouri’s all-time triple jump school record with a jump of 13.63m (44-8.75) last summer at the national championships.
