Johnson Places Fourth at Kansas State Women’s Indoor Pentathlon


Manhattan, Kan. – Sophomore Sydney Johnson finished fourth overall at the Carol Robinson Women’s Winter Pentathlon hosted by Kansas State on Friday, Dec. 9.

Johnson started the event strong, sitting in second place after the first two events: 60m hurdles (9.08) and the high jump (1.60m). The sophomore was in a tight race with Annie Molenhouse of Oklahoma State throughout the competition, swapping places on the leader boards throughout the day. Johnson ultimately finished just 62 points behind Molenhouse in the final standings.
