2023 High School Girls Top 20 Eligibles

Reigning Arcadia champ Sadie Engelhardt brings 1500/mile PRs of 4:11.79/4:35.16 into her sophomore year. (KIRBY LEE/IMAGE OF SPORT)

FAMILIAR NAMES might be expected to dominate the HS girls scene in ’23, as no fewer than 10 of our top-rated All-Americas from ’22 return: Shawnti Jackson (100), Mia Brahe-Pedersen (200), Akala Garrett (100H/300H), Cheyla Scott (HJ), Amanda Moll (PV), Mensi Stiff (SP), Emily Sralla (DT), McKenzie Fairchild (JT) & JaiCieonna Gero-Holt (hept). And they’ll be joined by 8 runners-up.

Classes: *** = frosh; ** = soph; * = junior; all others are seniors. + = time converted from metric race; w = illegally wind-aided; (A) = altitude over 1000m (in aided events only).

The mark listed with each athlete reflects her PR, through the last weekend of January. The top 20s in standard events:
