Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me is my favorite podcast.

If you have not listened to it, you’re missing a real treat.

Molly Seidel is the 2021 Olympic bronze medalist in the marathon.

What is really cool about Molly? She is painfully honest, which has brought her much respect and love from the running community.

Being an Olympic Trials marathon top 3 finisher is a big deal, but being an Olympic medalist is an enormous deal.

Last fall, after dealing with injuries since Tokyo 2021, ran an exciting Chicago Marathon 2023, finishing 8th in a big PB of 2:23.07!

On December 23, 2023, Molly Seidel was featured on the iconic NPR podcast “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me! ”

As always, Molly tells us stories about how an Olympic medalist has to pay bills, too, and was the delivery person for some time.

Molly was the second-fastest DoorDash delivery person.

“Aggressive driving be willing to push over an old lady for an avocado.”

Molly Seidel was featured on “Not My Job,” feature on the show.

Molly Seidel told NPR that she was smoking Marijuana and told her sister that she was going to run the Olympic Marathon Trials.

“There have been so many cool and exciting things in my career…it has been a joy ride.”

The interview on NPR is absolutely fun!

Molly enthralled listeners with her story about being a DoorDash delivery person. Comedian Bobcat Golthwaite really seemed to enjoy her journeys from wanna-be elite athlete to Olympic team member to Olympic team bronze medalist.

Now, Molly Seidel is sponsored by our friends at PUMA Running. She has a huge following on social media due to her honesty about the challenges in her career, from nutrition to mental health. Molly’s honesty is what sets her apart.

In all honesty, Molly is a championship marathoner. She gets it, she knows how to race, and I would not bet against her in Orlando or Paris.
