In order to be eligible for the award, teams must qualify for each of the NCAA Championships. Scoring is based on the team’s finish at each NCAA Championship.
The Gators women’s program finished no worse than fifth at any of the three NCAA Championships as they recorded their best finish in program history at the NCAA Cross Country Championships (5th) and then proceeded to earn back-to-back runner-up finishes at NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

CROSS COUNTRY
Synopsis: The Gators were led to their best finish in program history by Parker Valby as she won Florida’s first NCAA Cross Country individual title. Flomena Asekol, Allison Wilson, Elise Thorner and Liina Winborn were the other four Gators to score points at the National Championship. The team totaled 268 points in their top-five finish.

INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
Synopsis: The Gators totaled 50 points on route to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships. The team was headlined by two NCAA Individual Championships by Parker Valby, individual runner-up finishes by Claire Bryant and Grace Stark as well as a third place finish by the Women’s DMR (Elise Thorner, Laila Owens, Jess Edwards, Flomena Asekol).
