This is the beginning of our two—to three-week recovery time. The idea is to get a physical, mental, and spiritual break. We read books, take naps, goof off, and get outside and enjoy nature.
The workouts will be three days a week, and you will have the option of walking or biking to get you moving.
Each day, we will have an inspirational story for you.
Glenn Cunnigham was one of America’s finest milers in the 1930s, winning an Olympic silver medal in 1936. Glenn was fearless, running
the 880 yards in 1:50.9 and mile in 4:09 at the 1933 NCAA Champs: he won the mile, took second in the 880 yards.
Yet, Glenn was burned terribly as a child in a house fire. His doctors thought he would never walk again, but Glen
walked and got into running.
An incredible athlete, Glenn Cunningham, made the newspapers around the world with his astonishing running. Check him out

If you need something to do outside (it is hot today), walk 30 minutes early, ride a bike, or, best yet, take an easy swim and enjoy the day!
