Readers of MySportsResults know by now we are big fans of Connecticut’s athletes and we take special pride in the accomplishments of alumni who have reached the highest levels of the sport. The top three finishers who have a predetermined standard at theThe United States Olympic Trials will earn their right to represent their country at this summer’s Olympics in Paris, France starting on July 26th through August 11th.
The Trials competitions will take place from today through July 30th at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field in Eugene.

The following are former Connecticut high school athletes who have qualified and scheduled to compete (add three hours for Eastern Standard Time) over the next ten days:
Day 1 – Friday June 21, 2024 Evening Session

Jordan Davis – Southern Connecticut State University and Sheehan High School
Qualifying throw of 84.45 meters (277’1″) is the top seed and according to Track and Field News is the 10th best throw in the world.

Qualifying time of 50.24, 8th seed. Was part of the gold medal winning mixed at the 4x400m relay at the 2023 World Athletics Championships and competed in the
