Duke Announces 2024 Cross Country Slate

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke cross country head coach Kevin Jermyn announced the squad’s 2024 schedule Wednesday afternoon, with the Blue Devils opening the 2024 campaign Friday, Aug. 30 against North Carolina A&T.

The Blue Devils remain in-state for two of their next three meets starting with a trip to Cary for the Adidas XC Challenge (Sept. 20). Duke features a split squad the weekend of Oct. 4 with several members of the team heading to the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational (Chicago, Illinois), while others make the short trek to Greenville for the ECU Pirate Invitational. Duke will close out the regular season the weekend of Oct. 18-19 at a meet to be determined.

Postseason competition commences Nov. 1 as the Blue Devils return to Cary for the ACC Championships. The Blue Devil Invitational (Nov. 8) will serve as a last-chance meet to qualify for NCAA competition, which concludes the month. The NCAA Southeast Regionals (Rock Hill, S.C.) are set for Nov. 15, with the NCAA Cross Country Championships to be held Nov. 23 in Madison, Wisconsin.
