Ducks, Levi Ready to Make an IMPACT

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon track and field family grew this weekend with the signing of nine-year-old Levi Morris through the Ducks’ relationship with Team IMPACT.

Levi, who was battling Leukemia, was joined by family, friends, new teammates and The Duck Saturday afternoon at Hayward Field for his official Signing Day. He will participate in many team activities over the next two years including but not limited to attending practices and meets, and joining the team for community events.

“Here at Oregon, we’re looking for Ducks that are passionate, hardworking, talented, and energetic,” head coach Jerry Schumacher told Levi during his Signing Day ceremony. “You embody all of those and we couldn’t be more thrilled and more excited to have you be part of our team.
