PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh track and field team heads to Jacksonville, FL to continue their postseason campaign at the NCAA East Regional at Hodges Stadium (May 24-27).
The Panthers had 16 qualifiers, including Jack Balick (800m), Finn Walsh (1500m), Devin Nugent (400m hurdles), Jack Miller (3,000m steeple), Nigel Hussey (4x100m relay), Clement Campbell (4x100m relay, long jump), Darren McQueen Jr. (4x100m relay), Stephon Brown (4x100m relay), Otoniel Badjana (shotput), Daniel Amaya (hammer throw), Imani Clark (200m), Sadie Carey-Tharp (3,000m steeple), Lydia Bottelier (high jump), Ilse Steigenga (long jump), Foluke Olujide-Ajibade (hammer throw).
To advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Austin, Texas, qualifiers must finish in the top 12 of their respective events at the prelims. For relay teams, the top 12 relay teams at both the East and West Preliminary round sites will qualify for nationals.
