Competition Continues in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. — Competition at the USATF Outdoor Championships continued for Vanderbilt on Friday with Dylan Ballard and Santana Spearman’s performances in the U20 division of men’s 1,500 meters and the women’s 100-meter hurdles.

In the 100-meter hurdles, Spearman crossed the finish line in 14.01 seconds to place in the top 20.

Ballard recorded a time of 4:00.18 in the 1,500 meters to finish 19th.

On Saturday, Giavonna Meeks will compete in the hammer throw at 1:30 p.m. CT, and Allyria McBride and Mya Georgiadis will run in the first round of the 400-meter hurdles at 5:09 p.m. CT. The meet will be streamed on USATF.TV+, and live results are available HERE.
