Next, the 60-meter dash preliminaries get underway. Kaleia Arrington, Colaire, Morgan Marshall and Rollins will represent the SU women in the 60 at 12:45. The men’s race begins just prior at 12:30, with Carlton Landingham and James Nmah entered.

Another event featuring a large number of SU entrants will be the mile. Eamon Burke, Silas Derfel, Matthew Dragon, Alex Herbst, Patrick Malone, Kamari Miller, Gabriel Planty, Ruben Rojas Betanzos, Ethan Weschler and Jack Whetstone will race for the men. That is set to get underway at 1 p.m. At 1:20. The women’s mile is scheduled to feature Lizzie Bigelow, Emma Eastman, Madeline Heintz, Justus Holden-Betts, Caroline Kirby, Madeline Lutz, Kensey May, Shona McCulloch, Sydney Nowicki, Emily Nugent, Olivia Shattuck, Bethany Steiner, Reilly Zink and Lucy Zombek.

After the miles, the finals of the 60-meter hurdles and 60-meter dashes will be run in succession.

Last Time Out:

The Orange sprinters raced last weekend at the Virginia Tech Invitational. Jaheem Hayles posted what was one of the top-10 collegiate times to date this season in the 60-meter hurdles – which has since been moved out of the top-10 by faster times – and Elijah Mallard broke the program record in the 300-meter dash.
