Davis, Chavez, Lee Win at the Arizona Spring Break Fiesta; Sun Devils Total 15 Top-Three Marks

TUCSON, Ariz. – Led by the winning performances of Jayden Davis, Mia Chavez and Kiara Lee, the Sun Devils enjoyed a successful start to their 2024 Outdoor campaign, reaching a trio of titles and 15 top-three marks at the Arizona Spring Break Fiesta at Drachman Stadium.

The freshman Davis, just a week removed from winning a 4×400 relay title at the NCAA Indoor Championships, won the 400m for the team’s first title of the day. Mia Chavez followed suit, taking the Women’s 800m, while Kiara Lee rounded it out with a first-place showing in the women’s triple jump. Her mark of 12.99 (42′ 7 ½”) is now the third-best mark in Outdoor team history.

A dozen Sun Devils left Tucson with a top-three effort, while the team also had a pair of relays take second place. Kaleb Simpson was the only Sun Devil to net two top-three finishes, doing so in both the Men’s 100m and 200m.
