The USC women’s cross country team will be competing at the UC Riverside Invitational (6K) to be held on the UCR Agricultural Operations Course in Riverside, Calif. on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7 15 a.m. The Trojans will host the 2022 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships on this same course on Oct. 28.
Trojans who are scheduled to compete this weekend are Janiah Brown, Isabelle Cairns, Liyat Kebbede, Gigi Maccagnini, Mihajla Milovanovic, Brooke Rodi and Lucy Westlake.
USC opened the season by placing third at the Mark Covert Classic (5K) in Brea, Calif. on Sept.3 The third-place finish tied for USC’s best since winning the 2016 Pepperdine Invitational. Westlake led the Trojans at that meet by placing 11th individually. Maccagnini is the only Trojan making her season debut this weekend.
USC’s final regular season meet of the season will be the Bronco Invitational to be held in Sunnyvale, Calif. on Oct. 15.
