JACKSONVILLE, FL – The NC State track and field team opened action at the 2023 NCAA East Regional with two athletes advancing to the quarterfinal round of their respective events.
SPRINTS
Cam Murray kicked the night off by taking the top overall spot in the first round of the men’s 110m hurdles. The graduate student clocked in at 13.41 to take first and secure his place in the quarterfinals.
MIDDLE-DISTANCE
In the first round of the men’s 1500m, Gavin Gaynor submitted a time of 3:46.81 to qualify for the next round.

The Wolfpack returns to action tomorrow for the second day of East Regional action.
