The USC Track and field team be competing at the Florida Relays to be held at James G. Presley Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. on March 29-30. The Trojan men are ranked No. 11 and the women No. 15 in the first outdoor rankings released this week.
The Trojans will be joined at the Florida Relays by a very strong field of teams which includes: Army, Auburn, Charlotte, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Illinois, Iowa, Liberty, Maryland, Miami, Middle Tennessee, Missouri, Nebraska, Penn, Penn State, South Carolina, South Florida, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech.
Trojans expected to compete at the Florida Relays are:
Women: Simone Ballard, Jassani Carter, Takiya Cenci, Leah Disher, Alyssa Hope, Jan’Taijah Jones, Jasmine Jones, Christine M. Mallard, Lauren Reed, Rae-Anne Serville, Jalaysiya Smith, Marne Sullivan, Nonah Waldron, Madison Whyte.
Men: Jacob Andrews, Di’Niko Bates, Johnnie Blockburger, Johnny Brackins Jr., Gavin Champ, Elias Gerald, Josh Ligas, Yougendy Mauricette, Nickolas Miller, Tamaal Myers, Darius Rainey, JC Stevenson, Max Thomas
The Trojans will next be competing at the Texas A&M 44 Farms Team Invitational held at E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, Texas on April 5-6.
